About TRL
Transport Repairs Ltd was formed with a purpose in mind. To provide industry leading parts and service support to the transport industry. We aim to provide a specialist service at competitive rates and get the job right the first time with minimal downtime for our customers.
We are the Cummins engine dealer for Blenheim, Otago, and Southland; we are a Southpac Trucks dealer supporting DAF, Kenworth, and TRP products in Marlborough, Canterbury, Central Otago, and Southland.
Our modern workshops have state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including the latest diagnostic tools.
Our parts department staff have a wealth of industry knowledge and experience.
Our History at Transport Repairs Limited
Transport Repairs Ltd (TRL) was established on 1st October 2017. The new Transport Repairs Ltd came about by amalgamating:
- Transport Repairs Ltd (2003) with workshops in Invercargill, Gore and Cromwell
- Full Fleet Service & Maintenance Ltd with a Workshop in Dunedin
- Heavy Transport Specialists Ltd with workshops in Hornby, Bromley, Rangiora and Darfield.
The three Companies learned from their valued customers, who have grown their businesses successfully in the South Island, that it would be beneficial to come together.
In November 2020, Transport Repairs Ltd purchased Vent Mechanical of Blenheim.
Helping this amalgamation is the backing of transport giants Dynes Transport and HW Richardson. We are fortunate to have Peter Dynes and Scott O'Donnell join Mike Webster and Jason Popplewell as TRL Directors and Vincent Pooch as our Chairman.
