About the Role We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Parts Assistant to join our busy truck workshop team. This is a hands-on entry-level role with real career progression, structured training, and the opportunity to move into a formal Parts Apprenticeship.
If you’ve got a great attitude and are keen to learn, we’ll teach you the rest!
What you’ll be doing
- Picking and packing parts for workshop jobs
- Working in a warehouse stocktaking environment
- Assisting with stock control and keeping the parts area organised
- Completing deliveries and pick-ups from suppliers
- Supporting workshop staff with parts requirements
- Learning internal parts sales (counter support)
- Assisting with vehicle pick-ups and drop-offs (as required)
What we’re looking for
- Good computer skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Someone who is proactive and a self-starter
- Reliable, organised, and willing to learn
- Full driver’s licence
Bonus (not essential):
- Forklift license (or willing to get one)
- Class 2 license or higher (or willing to get one)
- Any warehouse or automotive experience
