Will Wedlake

Will joined TRL in 2018 as an apprentice mechanic, completing his qualifications before branching out to gain broader industry experience. In 2023, he returned to TRL to lead the Templeton workshop and has since taken on responsibility for both Canterbury workshops.

Will's leadership style is built on leading by example, fostering teamwork, and creating an environment where people feel supported to develop and succeed. His practical approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to his team have helped build a positive, high-performing culture across both workshops.

Outside of work, Will enjoys tackling projects around home, playing rugby, spending time with his two dogs, and getting out on the golf course (trying to hit the ball straight).

Approachable, down-to-earth, and always willing to lend a hand, Will is a highly respected leader and an integral part of the TRL team.
